Whether you're looking for a permanent home, somewhere to work a few days a month, or a London base while you're in the city, we've built 33rd Degree to be somewhere artists actually want to work.
We're in the heart of Shoreditch, surrounded by some of the busiest creative, hospitality and nightlife spots in London.
The idea is simple. Give great artists a great space, the freedom to run their own business, proper support when they need it, and plenty of opportunities to grow beyond the four walls of the studio.

TURN UP & TATTOO
Whether you're with us for two days or two years, we want working at 33rd Degree to be easy.Your studio rate includes the majority of standard everyday consumables, including fusion grey wash and a full fusion colour set.All aftercare, including tattoo armour pads and second skin will be supplied as well as aftercare for clients to purchaseYou bring your:• Machines

• Any specialist products you personally prefer to work withWe'll handle the rest.Stations are regularly restocked, with beds, stools, work stations, personal TV's with headphones. Arm rests and privacy screens are also available.WORK WHEN YOU
WANT TO WORK
33rd Degree can be used seven days a week, morning until late.Our front of house team is normally in the studio from 10am until 8pm, but those aren't your tattooing hours.If you want to start earlier, finish later or make the most of being in London and pack your diary, you absolutely can.Residents have their own studio access. If you're guesting with us and want to work outside our usual front of house hours, just let us know in advance and one of the owners or resident artists can arrange access.We don't want someone staring at the clock while you're trying to finish a tattoo properly.FRONT OF HOUSE
Our front of house team is there to make life easier for everyone working in the studio.They'll welcome clients, get them settled, offer drinks, help keep the studio running, answer general enquiries and make sure the day flows properly.We want the experience at 33rd Degree to be good from the second someone walks through the door, not just while they're physically being tattooed.You concentrate on your client and your work. We'll support everything happening around it.CONTENT & PROMOTION
We want to shout about the people working at 33rd Degree, whether you're permanently based with us or visiting for a guest spot.We'll promote artists through the studio's social media and help capture photos, videos and reels while you're working.Guest artists will be promoted ahead of their dates with us, and we'll help push remaining availability where we can.Residents will have a permanent presence across our website and platforms, with relevant studio enquiries directed towards them.Made something fucking cool? 33rd Degree isn't intended to exist solely inside the studio.We'll be attending tattoo conventions, working with brands, organising events and looking for opportunities to put both the studio and the artists working within it in interesting places.If something comes up and we think you're perfect for it, we'll ask you.NIGHT SHIFT
We're in Shoreditch. The area doesn't exactly go home at 8pm, so on selected nights, neither will we.Night Shift is our late night walk in concept, where we'll keep the studio open later and actively market for smaller, spontaneous walk in tattoos.And to be very clear, participation is completely optional for everyone.If you're working with us and fancy staying later to make some extra money, amazing.If you're not working that day but want to come in specifically for Night Shift, also amazing.If you've finished your last tattoo and want to go home, go home.Night Shift clients operate on a 30% studio commission.If you've already paid your standard £150 studio rate for that day, you don't pay anything additional unless you choose to take a Night Shift walk in. The 30% applies only to the Night Shift tattoos you complete.If you come in solely for Night Shift, you don't pay the £150 day rate. You simply pay the 30% commission on the work you take.Your own pre booked clients remain covered by your normal studio rate regardless of how late you work.WAYS TO WORK

GUEST ARTIST
In London for a few days, a few weeks or just fancy coming to work with us?
Guest spots are £150 per working day.
Your rate includes the majority of standard studio consumables.
If you're travelling internationally, you're welcome to have needles, inks or other supplies delivered directly to the studio before you arrive.
FLEXIBLE RESIDENt
Flexible residents work on a £150 day rate, giving you the freedom to build your schedule around your own diary.
You get the benefits of being part of the resident team while maintaining flexibility over when you work.
Your day rate includes the majority of standard studio consumables.
FULL TIME RESIDENT
If you're looking for somewhere permanent, full time residents have their own dedicated station within the studio.
Station rent is £2,000 per month on a 6 or 12 month agreement, giving you consistent access to your own space seven days a week.

IN RETURN
We expect everyone working at 33rd Degree, whether you're here for a weekend or permanently, to respect the standards of the studio.Turn up before your client.Keep your station clean.Take hygiene and cross contamination seriously.Treat your clients properly.Respect the studio, the equipment and the people around you.Communicate to your clients and the team.And generally, don't be a dick.We work incredibly hard to create a studio that artists are proud to work from and clients are excited to visit. All we ask is that you treat it with the same care while you're here.If you ever need additional support with hygiene, cross contamination or studio procedures, just ask. We'd much rather help than have somebody unsure.THE PEOPLE MATTER
We're serious about tattooing, but we don't want the studio itself to feel serious all the fucking time.We want people to talk to each other, share ideas, learn from each other and actually enjoy coming to work.There'll be team catch ups, food, conventions, events, stupid ideas that somehow become real ideas, and plenty going on outside normal appointments.If you're guesting, you're part of it while you're here.If you're resident, hopefully you're part of it for a very long time.You can get involved in as much as you want.COME WORK WITH US
